that right i got wills 68 nova..

the 307 and glide just isnt going to cut it! Laughing

horrible!

its a mess. he had it at another shop, where this hill billy called him self a painter and a mech-in-neck   Rolling Eyes

tired to make it run, but at this point i think the hill billy meck-in-neck messed with the cam timing, and it dont want to run. and is to the point it dont want to even run!

and for reference, a inside pic!

went a picked up a donor today for a hell of a steal!
355/th350 trans and a ton of great parts for 1/3 of the price of buying it all new!

i'll be adding pics as stuff comes apart, and goes back together!  Wink

i think this one will turn out great when its all said and done  Laughing

made some more progress today.. getting hoses hooked up, some wiring done, coil mounted and pulled the dash apart to start making a gauge cluster for it!

the backing is bare, but you get the idea...still have to color it and add holes for 2 more gauges, and some indicator lights . im thinking red back ground...

had to make a custom throttle cable to get WOT, and get it hooked to the car correctly

got the gauge panel completed and pulled it all back apart

to get some paint on it

and got it all wired up!

notice the weather pack connector. i set the wiring up like that for easy removal later down the road

got the dash working and wired in..fucking hill billy had the tack on the dash..so it works iffy..going to call autometer and see what can be done about it  Rolling Eyes

and its runs! finished plumbing the fuel and trans lines, and buttoning up the other stuff to make it run, and it does..mighty nice too!

this trans isnt going to die from heat i'll say that!

got the trim panel painted up, and got the bumper on the right way.!

got to rebuild the drive shaft and get some of the final touch's finished up. along with a shifter, and the rest of the red bulb covers for the dash..have to pop it back out anyway to trim it for the heater controls  Rolling Eyes . so thats what that slot was for in the oe one..oh well
